Karene--

:o)Believe me, I've seen all of those male docs you have talked about! My dad was army, so my doc growing up was the Flight Surgeon...LOL...no offense to any good ones out there. I was told my whole life too that I ate too much (usually about 500 calories a day) and that I must have just gotten the "hairy" gene from my family. My mom and dad are practically hairless!! That's why I have always gone to female docs since then, but my female docs recently have only put me on diets and told me to lose the weight. It's funny cuz I delivered my 2nd baby with a doc who my new good male doc is in practice with. As I was pushing her enormous 10 1/2 lbs. out with no drugs, the doc told me I should try to lose the weight after I had her. I was about 240 lbs. then and now am close to 310. He would be horrified, I'm sure. I should've kicked him right in the teeth, but I refrained. Anyway, my new doc, the male one, is in practice with him (as well as several others). Go figure! I guess for the most part my experiences with female docs have been better. This male doc that I've found now who listens and is so kind and caring maybe is just a fluke! I sure wish all of us could find a GREAT doc!!
