Paula--Someone sent me a link to a site by a Dr. Mercola. It was an article by Dr. John Lee claiming that the hormones in the meats and dairy products we've grown up with, etc. have caused us to be estrogen dominant. This in turn with a poor diet has caused PCOS to develop in so many. I posted the link not too long ago, but don't have time to search for it now...just thought you'd be interested.
