I had a pituitary tumor removed which meant three days in the hospital. I shunned away all visitors--said it was cause I didn't feel well enough to have company--real reason, facial hair. I kept a tweezers and a bottle of foundation by my bed!!! They told me not to wear any makeup before the surgery, the heck with that!!!! I did any way. Imagine that. Also I kept my room as dark as they would let me!!!! I don't even like to have my face touched by my husband--he know I have a problem but not the extent.
