well, the two times i went to the emergency room, i was in alot of pain. the second time, i thoght i was dying LOL they gave me 4 vicadin. they also told me that the cyst that burst was about 1/2 the size of my whole ovary. ( i gusee they can see where the cyst was) when i have a smaller cyst burst, i just do take a few ibuprophin and call all work for the day over. you will learn what it feels like and what to do about it. larger ones are more painful, smaller ones can hurt too though. i had the bleeding with both the big ones. my gyno told me it was normal and okay. that with pcos, cysts come and go all the time. i dunno if other people have this though. hope this helps love, paula
