About low carb...

Hey gals...I know a lot of you worry about the low carb diets creating a cholesterol problem in the future. Well, because the fats we eat are natural fats the opposite actually happens. My mom has been eating this way for about a year and her cholesterol has gone down quite a bit and her blood pressure is better now than it was before:) If you think back to when people lived longer and look at what they ate it makes sense. They ate the animals around them (pork, chicken, lots of beef), veggies, fruits... When they did eat breads it wasn't made of processed flour (even our wheat flours are processed) like the pastas and breads available today, but whole grains and more crude fibers. Just a thought... :) God bless the rest of your day, ladies!
