I have not followed any of these specific diets but, on my Drs advice have followed a low-carbohydrate diet which has basically limited my carbo intake to 2 slices of bread per day (filling up on lots of fruit, veggies and some meat)..... I have been on this for about 6 months now. In the beginning it was difficult and required lots of will-power and support to cut foods like pasta and bread from my diet (I have always loved bread!). But I have now lost 23 kilograms (I'm not sure what the conversion into pounds is) and am feeling much healthier although my PCOS symptoms have not changed at all (which I am most disappointed about). On the basis of all I have read (and my personal experience!) a low carbohydrate diet is the way to loose weight if you have PCOS (I cut fat and calories way back before and exercised my heart out to no avail!!!).
Good Luck!!!!
