Re: A Good DayFrom: Lee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 7 Jun 2000 08:31:33 -0500 (CDT)
Steph Lane, I just wanted to let you know your posting put a smile on my face. I am so glad things are going well for you. I wish you the best of luck---Keep up the good work!!!!! Six pounds is a LOT and you have a lot to be proud of. When I went on the Cabbage Soup Diet two months ago, I actually GAINED two pounds by the fourth day. I just read that if you are IR or produce too much insulin, eating watermelon is an absolute NO-NO; which is exactly what I ate during the days when fruit was allowed (and only two small bowls of the soup per day). The more I research, the more I think I do have PCOS--but I will go for the lab work on Thurs. I, too, will start a low-carb diet next week and will renew my membership at Ballys. If Metformin is prescribed I will hopefully be "on my way" like Steph. Thank you, Steph, for giving us out here some hope. Have a good day everyone!!!!
