Anyone on Micronor BCPs?

My gyno wouldn't let me have a refill of my usual OvCon 35s because my blood pressure is going up. She gave me Micronor since it is progesterone only and said that while I would cycle on it, I wouldn't feel "as good". Hmm. Does anyone have experience with this brand to tell me if this means moods, cramps, tenderness, or all of the above? I haven't cashed in my prescription yet as I am waiting to join a clinical study of INS-1 (d-chiro-inositol, http://www.insmed.com for info about clinical studies of it) and need to be clean of hormones, but thought I would check into this first. My other option is to go on blood pressure medication and see if I can reduce it that way in order to get my old prescription back, but I hate to take any more prescriptions and go in for any more monitoring than I have to. Each trip in is such a depressing reminder and I would much rather find some way of just doing an annual visit. Thanks for any insight.
