Beckie,
Just because you will not have ovaries, does not mean that you still
don't have PCOS!!! I had my last ovary removed 18 months ago, diagnosed
w/PCOS this year. PCOS is a metabolic/hormonal problem, not just
related only to those women that have ovaries present!!! It is important
to discuss w/your doctor, seek the right medical treatment whether it is
medications, etc., and to remember that YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS!!! I
have found a lot of support here and I believe that everyone here can
relate to how you feel and are feeling!! Get your physician to do some
blood work, talk w/him/her about low-carbing. It is important to
remember that, even though you may not like what you see on the outside,
you are a lovely, beautiful, caring, warm, person with real feeling that
DESERVES the best of everything:)!! You can find a lot of support,
information here!! God bless!
