You know, it's funny. I was researching PCOS on lexis-nexis recently and I actually came across an article about htat. It was in some british newspaper maybe last year. But it really gave me a howl--headline was something like "Woman with ovarian syndrome goes off pill and becomes a maneater" They really used the word maneater! in headline! And then went all about telling her story--seh was on pill for most of teen years, then college, then went off pill for 10 mos and had to have 2 oversexed boyfriends just to keep her satisfied and wore them both out. she finally went back on pill b/c she was apparently exhuasting herself! THis is a real article!! ANd I thought, well, maybe it was more like a 'national inquirer' type newspaper.. I wrote it off. But to hear you guys talk, yeah, maybe it's not an exagg.'d piece. ANd I would TOTALLY see how it would be the testosterone that does it. Lex-nex. requires special password access. But if I can..i'll see if I cna go snip it and slap it in here. MAybe the editors would post it for us.
