I've been on metformin now for three months. I began met as I ended
BCP. I had one period from the last round of BCP and then about 6-7
weeks later another period. Now it's been 6-7 more weeks, and no sign
of a period. I saw my endocrinologist last week (when he upped my
dosage to 1500 mg per day) and he said that first period under met might
have been a fluke. Obviously we're taking a wait and see attitude now.
I'm wondering about the experience of others. If met worked for you and
you returned to a regular cycle, how long did it take for that to
happen? And what methods were used to verify that you were ovulating?
