Re: PCOS & Libido! Finally I can talk about itFrom: Jolene (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 31 May 2000 13:45:10 -0400
We've been talking about high sex drives, low sex drives, etc. What are we comparing our sex drives to? I suppose the question is rhetorical, but I think it raises an important issue. Are we comparing it to our partner's sex drive? Our friends'? Some statistical average from a survey? Looking forward to your comments. Jolene, in Toledo

I definitely want sex more than he does. I know it is testosterone related. Before I knew about PCOS, I could not understand women who had no interest in sex. Before I got married, I thought, my husband would certainly be pleased that I was not going to be refusing him. However the opposite has been true. I want sex much more frequently than he does. I think he is pleased when I DON'T ask for it. I've always felt that my sex drive was much more like a "typical male". Sorry if I sound sexist. I think it is merely a chemical difference.
