Appt went well - right??

Hi everyone -

Well, I had a appt with an ObGyn this morning. He was very nice, easy to talk to, and agreed that I "probably" have PCOS. He put me on OrthoCyclen for two months, told me to let him know how it's working for me and to make an appointment in three months for a follow-up. I felt pretty comfortable with it all, until I started thinking too much!

Now I'm wondering why he didn't order an IGTT. Is it possible to treat PCOS with just BCP? Is OrthoCyclen a good pill to be on (I vaguely remember that the "tri" pills are not a good idea with PCOS...?) Is it true that "The Pill" makes you gain weight?

I know I should have asked the doctor these questions, but I was just feeling so relieved/relaxed when I left; I wasn't thinking about these things.

Thanks for all the support! Lisa
