I was diagnosed with PCOS, without an ultrasound, so who knows what my ovaries look like? So, even if you don't have cysts you may still have PCOS, and your bloodwork and history together should help make a diagnosis, or at least rule PCOS out if that is not what you have. As for the IGTT, I wouldn't start taking anything new beforehand, and it has been suggested that you carbo-load (eat lots of carbs) for 3 days before your test, that way you will get a more accurate fasting number. Don't be down on yourself, I have felt EXACTLY the same, "this must be my fault, if I ate better, excercised more, had a better attitude, were stronger...." it can go on and on, but the bottom line is: You know when something is WRONG with you, and you need to seek help until you find the right answers to make things right for you. Take care, and let us know what happens. At Tue, 30 May 2000, Rae wrote: >
