Dear Heidi,
I too went through the fertility shots, with success. Let me encourage
you. Keep trying! I did Fertinex for 5 cycles before it finally "took".
I too had one egg the first cycle, then seven the second(we had to
abandon that one) and then I had one the next. We kept tweaking the
dosage to get it right. It was tricky, and by the third time, I was
ready to quit, but that little voice inside told me to keep going, I
would regret not giving it my all. Sure enough two more cycles went by
and then I finally conceived. I had three mature eggs, and fortunately
only one of them fertilized. We did IUI to increase the chances of
conceiving. I have a daughter from that pregnancy who is a precious 2
year old. I also have a son who is 6. I took Clomid to get pregnant
with him. Clomid didn't work anymore for me when I tried for baby
number 2. I too was sceptical about doing the shots and all that. I
didn't want to have to fool with it, but now I am soooooo glad I did. I
wouldn't trade anything for my baby girl. Just be patient, and pray a
lot. That is what I did. It will work out like it is supposed to. I
wish you well!
