Tried e-mailing you this, but it bounced. So if you did not get the e-mail, Try this website. I checked and they seem much cheaper than through your husbands work... http://www.californiahealthquotes.com/ Annetta -----Original Message----- From: anonymous@obgyn.net [mailto:anonymous@obgyn.net Sent: Tuesday, May 30, 2000 2:37 PM To: Multiple recipients of list PCOS Subject: How do you ladies find insurance?? Greetings to all! Okay, after life in much-missed Australia with their much MORE missed health care system, my hubby and I moved to California 3 weeks ago. I am completely confused by health insurance in this country! My husband has a great job that pays for HIS health care, but to add me to it costs over $300.00 a MONTH! They've got to be kidding, right? I mean does anyone pay that much for health care? I could put that money in the bank and pay for it myself... Anyway, I asked around about other health care plans, but no one will take me because of my weight. Surely other people are in this situation - what do you do? And how do you get insurance to cover your PCOS treatment? If anyone is living in N. CA and has a good provider, I would love some leads. My met runs out in a month and I need to see a doctor! :) Thanks as usual... hope you're all having a good week! Sonnet
