Well I'm sure it didn't help but I don't think it 'caused' the PCO--they don't know what causes it from what i've read. But it's thought to be a (probably genetic) tendency of your cells to become IR.

But y'know, if your symptoms had never gotten more full-blown you would never have be diagnosed and could probably never have figured out how to reduce the milder forms of all your symptoms that you had most of your life.That's how I look at it anyway.
