Hi Beckie -

Sounds like you really have a trial of a time, I'm sorry to hear of it. I can't speak to having your ovaries removed from experience, although I'm sure it would solve the problem of ovarian cysts and pain. But, it won't help any of the other problems, really, at least not completely. PCOS isn't a primary ovary problem, the ovaries are just responding to the excess levels of insulin. Have you considered pursuing treatment for that? Either "pregnancy/nursing" safe things (certain herbals and supplements) or Metformin? It would seem to me that it would be worth trying to treat the problem at a little more basic level and see if that helps with your pain, before resorting to major surgery. JMO.
