I decided to try Inositol but in a limited dose -- 500 mg per day. I open the capsule and mix it with my morning soy protein drink. I didn't want to go the full 1500 because I am a bit nervous about megadosing on anything. Well, I was completely but pleasantly surprised to get my period right on time (the end of the month is what I shoot for when I do progesterone). I had started the Inositol at the beginning of the month. I am hoping that I will see the same results next month. I decided not to go on a low carb diet since I just didn't feel right on such a low dose of carbs and since I didn't get any results. I found trying to eat more whole grains, fruits and veggies had more benefit since I am not a meat eater. I still exercise religiously, putting in at least 4 aerobic workouts per week plus 4 to 5 days of resistance training in the form of Pilates or weight training. Just thought I'd pass along a success!
