Paula:

It's quite late...but I couldn't help myself....had to write! You'll find that there are many wonderful women here who are low-carbing. It's nice because we're all able to share low-carb stories, recipes, meds, etc. I'm sure many will post to this message and plans will be different. I truly believe that one must find what plan suits their lifestyle best. For me, I was unable to follow Atkins or any of the other "well-known" plans. I have developed one of my own & it seems to be working. I try to keep my daily carb intake between 20-30 grams a day. Not always that easy when you start reading all the labels! A typical day would look something like this: Chromium 400mcg (730am) BFAST- 2 eggs scrambled, 1 slice cheese, 3 small sausage links (8am) L-Carnitine 500mg, Q10 50mg Snack on a few Tic Tacs...drink water...water...water LUNCH- chef salad w/ blue cheese dressing OR avocado salad OR burger (no bun, f fries or ketchup) w/ cheese OR anything else I feel like eating with few carbs(1230-1pm) Snack on more tic tacs...water...water...water DIN- turkey burger with low carb veggies OR steak OR chicken (8pm) L-Carn 500mg, Q10 50mg Desert: scoop o' Ben & Jerrys ice cream (very SMALL scoop) or Cool Whip with 2-3 sliced strawberries

Good Luck! :-) Alexis paula wrote:
