While I'm unsure of the specific drug you mention, there are studies showing that the anti-seizure drug tegretol can cause infertility if given to young women. One thing I do know for sure, don't let the pcos symptoms go untreated even if the ultrasound is negative. Many of us have no cysts on our ovaries. It's the symptoms that show she has the syndrome. Make sure her doctor treats her. When you get treatment as young as 16, your chances for a very normal life are wonderful. good luck.
