help!!!!! does anyone know if there is a link between the epilepsy drug sodium valproate otherwise known as epilim and PCOS. My daughter now 16 has been taking this medication for approximately 6 years and has developed the symptoms of pcos. facial hair, no periods for six months, acne, weight gain. she had an ultra sound scan yesterday maybe this is a POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECT of the drug. Any suggestions anyone?
