Hello, I think I may be having hypoglycemic attacks too. I will be fine and then all of a sudden I can't think straight, I have severe mood swings, severe depression, frustration, rapid pulse, etc etc. I have PCOD and I am waiting on my result of the fasting test (is that the free insulin/glucose test?) Anyhow, thats the one I had done. I am fine as soon as I get food in me though. I am always hungry and I too am not overweight. I have the classic symptoms of PCOD though (acne, thinning/loss of hair, irregular cycles) but I haven't had an ultrasound yet. I wanted to know what causes the muscle spasms/cramps? I have them a lot of the time in the abdominal area and they tend to come and go very spontaneously without me having to do anything physical. Do you guys ever have that? Also, my gyno seems unexperienced with PCOD and was quick to put me on Ortho-Cyclen without any further medication or testing (that is, unless that fasting test comes back unnormal). Do I need to be seeing a different kind of doctor? I am in a lot of pain with cramps, back aches, etc. What do you think?? Thanks a ton for any advice. Please email me~ Charity (grover7998@aol.com)
