ongoing bleeding

I have been diagnosed with PCOS for a while now and display most of the symptoms - excessive hair, infertility, mood swings etc. etc. etc. Lately my problem is that I keep bleeding I have been bleeding for 55 days - stopped for 1 week and have just started spotting again today. Sometimes it seems to be old blood and sometimes it is new blood. What does this mean?? Is it common for PCOS sufferers?

I am tossing up whether to go on the pill, as I have decided that I do not want to continue with the fertility treatments I have been using in the past and would rather treat this problem and the other major problem of excessive hair growth.

I would appreciate any advice on this discussion board or email me. Thanks.
