When a person is in ketosis it means that they are burning their stored fat and using it as a source of energy in their body....basically as it should have been used to begin with. Although I'm not following Atkins to the "t", he suggests that ketosis is quite important (but not completely necessary) to lose weight. :-) Alexis kristin wrote:
