Karen-

I've been taking the L-Carnitine (1000mg daily) with a Chromium Pic blend (800 a day) for about 2 months. I only decided to give the L-Carn a try after I wasn't able to get into ketosis following Atkins. L-Carn has been known to help those with severe IR. Since I started, I am no longer follwing Atkins but have come up with a low-carb plan which fits my lifestyle. I finally made it into the ketosis and have dropped 15lbs since the end of March. I believe its a combo of both of them & the low-carbing which has helped so much with the weight loss. My energy levels have also amazingly increased & I feel much better. The hairs on my chinny chin chin have also began to grow MUCH slower. I've also had no negative side effects. I was one who was always tired & a true carb addict. Now, hardly any cravings, more energy & for the first time in a long time...I can see my toes!!!! :-) Alexis
