Hi again Amy!

Hope you are doing well....

Just wanted to send a quick comment on your question... You know that I've been on Met since early April (I think a couple of weeks before you started).. I have had the spotting, but no period. The spotting came twice, once the first week I was on it, and once the first week in May.... I also had some fairly awful cramps before & during the spotting episodes. However, unlike you, I am not on BCP's... I remember when I was on BCP's, even though my periods were regular, I still got bloated, crampy & emotional before & during periods...

I'm not a hypochondriac by any stretch of the imagination, however, when I notice something that seems "wrong" or inconsistent with the kinds of symptoms my doctor has told me to expect, I always contact the doctor, just in case. Use your best judgement on whether or not to contact your doctor in this situation.....

Glad to "see" you back!

Clara

Hi Clara/ PCOS Board - Hope this message finds you all doing well...I have a question for you...I have been on Met since April 20th...The upset stomachs have mostly subsided, however for the past 2 weeks I have been spotting and cramping horribly. I started BCP on the 30th ...

I have been very emotional like severe PMS for the time period of the spotting...Now, I wonder what will happen when I am supposed to start my period based on the BCP schedule...

Also - I am having swelling in my feet, hands and face...??? Is this normal or should I call and talk to my doctor?

Thanks A Million! Amy
