Plucking only makes it stronger b/c by traumatizing the follicle (but
not destroying it as you would with electrolysis) you are only making it
stronger--the blood is drawn to it, and hence it gets even more hormones
to feed it and make it thicker. It's like trying to kill a weed--unless
you really kill it (zap it), you are only challenging it to come back
with a vengeance. And that only makes it take longer to kill with
electrolysis if that is the way you evenatually want to go.
I'm only telling you this b/c I learned this the hard way. I plucked
for YEARS.
Bottom line, you can pluck your eyebrows or something and be just fine,
but it's those hormone fed hairs that you cannot go yanking without
being punished later.
