Facial Hair

I have noticed that many of us are hoping to alleviate our facial hair problems by using low-carb diets, supplements or medications such as Met. It is my understanding that once a hair is "terminal" ie: black and coarse it is permanently that way. You may lessen your problem by regulating your hormones so that more hairs don't go "terminal" but you will still be stuck with the hairs you do have because a terminal hair follicle will always produce a terminal hair. Anyone have any different information or different experiences with this?
