Tina~ I'm so glad your Mom is a reader!! :o) I too had the same problems with my doctor. The last time I was there, she gave me a 1500 calorie diet~after I spent quite a bit of time telling her about PCOS and bringing her a lot of info to read. She said try it for a week to see what happens~we all know what happened~I gained 10 more pounds. UGH!!

I have an appt. with a NEW Dr. who is known around here for treating PCOS when he sees it! I hope you find someone who will help you too, someone who will LISTEN!
