Re: 16 yr old daughter

Those ways of clearing the liver are interesting. I have struggled with cycstic acne since PCO hit me about 8 yrs ago (i am now 30). I never knew I had PCO tho or that I could consume something to help the acne go away.

SO MY WAY of dealing with it is simply using Nuetrogena Acne Oil-Free Acne wash. It has salycylic acid in it which is also known as betahydroxy. It works a lot like alphahydroxy in that it sloughs the dead cells off your face quicker, but I have found this works much more effectively for me. What it does is basically prevents my skin from getting as clogged as it would otherwise. I use in in am and p.m. And it takes about a week so start showing a difference--and also a week of negligence (not using it) before my acne starts boiling up again.

I have tried millions of cleansers trying to fight this acne and the only one that's ever worked for me was the Nuetrogena. There is actually another brand out now, with similar ingredients. Called ClearLogix. But I've found that dries out me face so much it makes it peel, so I'm going back to the Nuetrogena.

This is a totally different treatment idea than your liver cleansing, but hey, whatever helps!! <:)

Best of luck to your daughter!! :)

I didn't understand what you meant by the acne sometimes being called sugar diabetes??? Can you explain? And what do you mean by a "whole food diet"?
