Has anyone heard of this...?

My pharmacist friend told me about a condition called Wilson's Syndrome that presents itself alot like PCOS. It's a thyroid condition that doesn't show up with the tests and doesn't respond to synthroid. Has anyone else heard of this? Could they be related? There's info at http://www.wilsonssyndrome.com I'm going to check it out and ask my dr. about that too at my appt. I was just curious if anyone else has heard of this or is anyone being treated for it? It sounds sooooo similar to PCOS.
