Many women have conceived on metformin alone. It has been proven to assist in ovulation. Some women and their drs are using metformin throughout the pregnancy. DO NOT take spironolactone!!!! It is an anti-androgen and may cause genital birth defects in a male child. Met should be safe with FSH.
