Excess hair and Spironolactone

I've been on Spironolactone for about 18 months now and personally, it's helped quite a bit. The hair on my arms and legs grows in much slower and finer now, as does the hair on the sides of my face. The hair under my chin, on the other hand, is a different issue. Because it was the first to develop, and it's the only area which has been brutalized with tweezing, waxing, bleaching, home electrolysis, and numerous hair-removal gimmicks, the only benefit there was that it's slower to grow. The hair there is black and coarse, and I'm currently getting electrolysis to kill it. Incidentally, if you get electrolysis WITHOUT treating the hormonal issue that's causing the hairiness (aka PCOS), the electrolysis won't work!!

It's working, slowly but surely. My five o'clock shadow is only 3:15 by now. <lol!>
