New to the new board. For met newbies, I'll tell you I've been on Met since October. (GTT revealed 275 glucose an hour after the sugar drink)(Had been on BCP for 8 years, quit in December.) First two months it was great, except I had no appetite and was extremely fatigued. Being a thin pco'er, this was not good, but at least I didn't have hypoglycemic attacks. Then my head hair started to thin out after five months. Then, my head hair got thicker than all heck again and the appetite returned. Unfortunately, so did the stomach upset. DOctor had upped the dose to 875 3x a day. Blood tests in March said I'm A-OK. I've cut back down to about 200 a day. Stomach upset EVERY MORNING. Had a horrible hypoglycemic attack today.
