Re: treatment with Vitamins

I just wanted to point out an important point about how to take inositol. In the study on inositol, it called for 1200mg of inositol on an empty stomach, all at once in the morning. If you are taking it three times a day... Do you have an empty stomach each time? The point is to prevent it from being altered by insulin. That is why there is a problem with inositol and PCOS which is how it is metabolized with insulin. Also on the 650mg capsules... Make sure that it is not a timed release formula. I saw one supplement that was for 650mg in a green bottle that was a timed release. Timed release means that some of it would be released later after you have eaten. I think some women take inositol the wrong way and then later say that it didn't do anything. You can probably eat that much inositol in a day but it would be altered either by insulin or enzymes which is why there is a problem. At Fri, 28 Apr 2000, Margo wrote: >
