TRINA Re: PCOS? Feeling very alone here.

So sweet of you to respond! You hit the nail on the head, buddy: After getting "that look" from some doctors--you know, the one that makes you feel like you're somehow just being weak should just buck up??--I'd feel degraded and had HAD it. Your note was a godsend: Reminded me that hey, we ARE bucking up already, darn it: We're living with symptoms which are testing not only our physical stamina but our self-esteem and emotional strength as well. And (venting aside!!) we're all doing pretty darned well at it: Taking care of our families, continuing our professional careers, and taking charge by learning more about it and sharing with others. That doesn't sound like weak behavior to me! I happen to think that you and the other ladies here are among the strongest people I've met.

Take it easy as well, and thanks for the e-address. :))
