Re: treatment with Vitamins

I am taking the vitamin supplements instead of Metformin. My ob/gyn and the specialist he referred me to "do not believe Metformin is appropriate for PCOS" (I don't necessarily agree). Since I couldn't get Met prescribed for me, and the typical birth-control-or-Clomid regimen wasn't helping me at all, I took matters into my own hands. I have to admit it is nice that the supplements appear to have had the same effects as Metformin (i.e. minor weight loss, better ability to control my hypoglycemia, restored ovulation and periods) but without the legendary side effects.
