The health system in the UK is the same...very LONG waits. I was lucky enough to be able to go privately so I only waited a month for my first appt. It has been another month since then and I am still waiting for the rest of my lab results...but this is considered fast by UK standards, it would have taken about a year for the whole process on the National Health Service!

I too have gone ahead with a low-carb diet...they don't do that here in the UK but I am willing to try anything!

Take care! Sally
