Hang in there, Margo!! You're going to get to the root of this, sweetie! For what it's worth, I know exactly how you feel, so you're not alone. I'm 35 and posted a message here today for the first time because I, too, went to my doctor armed with all sorts of (I thought) helpful info about PCOS, and definitely got that skeptical vibe from her as well. I was nodding when you described (perfectly I have to say) the dark area above your lip, sugar lows, etc. ME TOO. WHY, with all of the great medical schooling out there, are we running into doctors who don't look at the TOTAL picture??? It's very sad and disappointing. I've asked Belle about it, and will let you know what I learn, Margo. In the meantime, know that you're not alone. : ) J.
