Re: METFORMINFrom: Avalos (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 25 Apr 2000 08:00:33 -0500
Hi Amy, I am sure there are more answers to your post... just wanted to say "hi" & to tell you that I have been experiencing the horrendous tummy ache & nasty diarrhea since my second week on Met.... I have stuck with the dosages as the doctor has prescribed & am holding on! (I've also missed a couple of days of work... yesterday I was home all day because I had the diarrhea & could not risk going into the office, since my office is at the other end of the building from the bathroom!! aaaaaagh!) Today I feel fine, so far... (this happened to me last week, too & also on Saturday night/Sunday morning). Anyway, hang on! Have you called your doctor? When I spoke to mine, he said that if I could make it through the time it will take for my body to adjust, then the side effects will go away... Let me know how you are doing!
