Someone said her RE had mentioned a study which showed that PCOS ladies who weigh over 250 don't respond to the diabetes medications. I'm 270 (and working real hard it on this week since finding out last week Avandia was denied due to my weight), so I asked her to see if she could get any leads on the reference. I have to wonder if it is as simple as weight, or do we have something else going on as well? I definitely feel at this point that Met is *worse* for me than bcps. When I get the next results of bloodwork, I will have more info. If my testosterone of 182 went down while off met, I will consider that proof of its toxicity in me. Like the brand new facial hair and the worst acne of my life wasn't proof enough already.
