I have read studies that suggest that Metroformin helps ALL women with PCOS...even those who are not insulin resistant, and that it is just as safe for the non-IR women to use as it is for the IR women. Don't know how substantiated this is, but I have definitely read this in more than one place. Maybe someone else here has more info? Good luck!
