I think you need to see an allergy specialist. My experience with both
a general practioner and an allergy specialist is that the general
practioner just doesn't know much about allergies. I'm always very
impressed when I find one who does. (I'm 41, and I've only known one
who does, and I've been treated for allergies since I was 5).
As a side comment, Flonaise nasal spray is quite helpful as a
"prentative" for seasonal airborne allergies after prolonged use. It
doesn't solve any immediate situation, but it helps prepare the nasal
membranes for a later situation such as a dusty/windy day or working in
the yard.
