I'm glad you wrote back. I want to encourage you to find an allergy specialist or an allergy clinic with our without your doctor's help. Luckily, my family knew a lot about allergies, so when they (my family) realized that was what was wrong with me as an infant, they took me to a specialist at probably age 7. Up until that time, their general practitioner took care of me. He was pretty good, though. I took the tests and began allergy shots at that time. Allergies can show themselves in a variety of ways, and I would guess to say in the most cases it is not shown through a rash as most people think. I was sick every Christmas, for example, until my family realized I couldn't have a real Christmas tree in the house.

Good luck!
