Ovarian cysts?

About 1 year ago I had and internam and external ultrasound done to see if I had ovarian cysts. The ultrasound came back negative. However for the last two years I have been having these symptoms.

1 gained approx 125 lbs in a year and a half 2 constant no stop periods. (one lasted for 6 months till I began taking evening primrose oil. And if I stop taking it I will bleed non stop again) 3 I am loosing my hair on my head. 4 It is all migrating to places on my body that it should NOT be 5 severe acne 6 dark patches of skin between my breasts and under my arms 7 An elevated testerone level (normal is up to 85 i think and I am at 117)

There are other symptoms but these are the main ones. Now to my question. Do you have to have visable cysts on you ovaries (in the ultrasound) to have this syndrome? Could it be possible that if I do have these cysts they were missed a year ago? I know I need to get ot a DR but my family lost our medical due to a job change. We are, however working on getting it again. Also I did see an endocronoligist (sp?) and he told me that I was jsut genetically fat. I have never been a large person. I used to weigh 126 lbs and I am 5' 7". Even after my children I only weighed 160. I am only 23 years old and I feel like I am 50. If anyone out there can help me at all it would be appreciated. Sometimes I feel like this is the beginning of the end for me.
