Re: Acid Reflux and Dry Patches...

I just found this site today. I am 23 and am in the process of being tested for PCOS. I have a lot of questions and anxieties about it. I found this thread particularly interesting because I too have suffered from acid reflux for about 7 years now. I always thought it was ulcers, but my doctor says it is not. I took Prilosec for awhile and found that it did help. I also have the problem with weight gain. I have gained 40 lbs. in the past 2 years, and I don't eat that much. Plus, I don't eat greasy, fatty, or rich foods because they irritate my stomach and cause bad heartburn. I have another question now. since my periods became irregular, I have started experiencing pain in my ovaries. Usually it's just a dull ache, but sometimes it's a sharper, or even burning pain. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what might help get rid of it.
