Hi Peace,

I am taking a medicine called spironolactone (aka Aldactone) for the second time in a period of 2 years, and when I took it the first time for almost a year I found that it did help the excessive hair growth, and acne.

It could be that some of the other ladies tried this medicine and found that it didn't help them so they are trying the other things. Another reason that they might be trying these other things is b/c they want to see if it can be controlled without having to use the medication.

Everyone is different.

I do hope that this is of some help to you. If you have any other questions please feel free to e-mail me privately.

Take care,

Kristy :)
