Plusses: He was quick to recognize my symptoms and diagnose me (actually, my primary care physician recognized them first and referred me to him) and he put me on glucophage as soon as I was diagnosed. Minuses: If I was into natural medicine (which I'm not--give me drugs!), I might worry that he is too quick to prescribe medicine before looking at other alternatives (low-carb diets, etc.). But I guess that's how most doctors are :).
