1) Yes, it seems that our sons are equally as likely to be insulin resistant as our daughters. Our sons may end up being shorter than they would have been otherwise, have excess weight gain around the middle and be bald. 2) If we follow a low carb diet, we will bave better results than if we do nothing. The low carb diet may help lower our insulin but since so many of us have high fasting insulin, it seems that we produce too much and we are unable to get rid of it properly. The Glucophage helps our body utilize the insulin in the "normal" way.
